AccessTime vs Jibble
AccessTime competes with Jibble from the position of a Spanish specialist against a global freemium generalist. It matches the product core (web, app and kiosk clock-in with GPS, real-time presence, exportable timesheets, absences with approval, schedules and roles) and beats it on everything specific to the Spanish market: the RD 8/2019 working-day record (Spain's mandatory time-logging decree) presented for inspection, national holidays pre-loaded, holiday balances at the legal minimum, remote-work logging aligned with Ley 10/2021 (Spain's remote-work law) and co-official languages. Its gaps against Jibble are narrow but real: Jibble keeps a permanent free plan (AccessTime offers a 3-month trial and then a single plan at €29/employee/year), and Jibble brings biometric verification, geofencing and an offline mode in the app.
Where AccessTime wins
- Built for Spanish compliance. RD 8/2019 working-day record ready for inspection, holidays pre-loaded and time off at the 22-day legal minimum.
- Co-official languages. Full Catalan, Basque and Galician, which Jibble does not offer.
- Remote work aligned with Ley 10/2021. Self-service logging of remote days reflected in the working-day report.
- Migration from Jibble itself. Employee and clock-in history importer that cuts the switch down to minutes, keeping the legal history.
Where we're on a par
| GPS clock-in | Web, app and kiosk with geolocation, just like Jibble. |
| Exportable timesheets | Per-employee, per-day report exportable to Excel. |
| Absences with approval | Request, balances and an approval flow. |
| Schedules and roles | Weekly schedules per person and administration roles. |
Where Jibble is ahead (today)
We'd rather tell you ourselves: these are the areas we don't cover yet. The roadmap is prioritised with our customers.
| Permanent free plan Major | Jibble keeps a free plan with no user limit; AccessTime offers a 3-month full trial and then a single paid plan (€29/employee/year, about €2.42/month). |
| Biometrics and geofencing | Jibble offers facial recognition against «buddy-punching» and geofencing; AccessTime validates GPS but not biometrics. |
| Offline mode and overtime calculation | Jibble clocks in offline and calculates overtime; in AccessTime clock-in requires a connection and the hours balance is shown in the report. |
